Playground Supervision Before and After School
Students should arrive at school between 8:00 - 8:15a.m. Please do not drop/send students before this time, as we do not have general supervision on campus prior to 8:00a.m. The school playground is not supervised before school and, therefore, students are not allowed on the playground at those times.
Students should be picked up immediately after school. Students who are not picked up after school will be asked to wait in the front office, and parents will be contacted. The school playground is not supervised after school and, therefore, students are not allowed on the playground at those times.
After school, unsupervised primary students (grades 1-3) who are waiting for older siblings must wait in the front office, not on the playground. Parents of primary students who wait with them for older siblings’ dismissal, please be mindful of the fact that our older students are still in class and we want to minimize distractions and noise outside.
Children should be picked up, or walk/ride home, immediately after school. Students who are not picked up after school will be asked to wait in the front office and parents will be contacted. Do not allow your children to play on the playground unsupervised and please remain in close proximity to your child if you choose to have them play after school is dismissed.
No Dogs Allowed
Dogs are not allowed on public school campuses for a variety of health reasons. Animal Control Services through Irvine Police Department may be called and you may be cited if your pet dog is with you on campus.
